Funding is available if you’re a Northern Ontario business aiming to reduce energy use through a renewable energy project. Businesses undertaking renewable energy projects in Northern Ontario are also eligible for funding.

The SJIF is a discretionary, non-entitlement grant and loan program designed to support leading-edge investments in Ontario that create at least 50 high value jobs or will have at least $10 million in eligible costs. This program focuses on four priority sectors: Clean/Green Technologies, Financial Services, Information and Communication Technology and Life Sciences.
