Electronic Master Business Licence Service Guarantee

Minimum Technical Requirements

Keeping your information secure

The Integrated Business Services Application automatically encrypts all of your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits. To verify your session is secure, on your browser look for:

  • https: in the URL address line
  • A "secure" symbol (closed padlock or key) on the status bar of your browser, located on the lower right portion of the browser window. Note: The status bar must be enabled for you to see the padlock or key.

The requirement for 128-bit encryption is to protect your privacy. With less than 128-bit security, the privacy of the personal information being submitted may be compromised. By using 128-bit security, we are ensuring the highest level of protection possible.

The minimum PC browser requirements required to use these forms are capable of supporting 128-bit encryption. This includes the following:

Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or higher
Netscape Navigator version 6.0 or higher
Mozilla Firefox version 1.0.1 or higher

To speed up web browsing, Internet browsers are designed to download web pages and store them locally on your machine in an area called a "cache". To ensure that no personal information is stored, it is advisable to clear the cache on the personal computer you are using. Use the following instructions to clear the cache for the browser you are using:
