Local officials in Trent Hills declared an emergency on April 24

Recovery efforts are underway in Centre Hastings, Tweed and Belleville. Emergencies remain in place in the three communities.

The Township of Stone Mills ended their emergency early on April 24.

The Ministry of Natural Resources indicates that drier weather has had a positive impact on rivers and creeks, and many have stabilized or are receding. However, other rivers are expected to remain high for days or weeks.
