Amending O. Reg. 332/12

(BUILDING CODE)

1. Clause 1.4.1.3.(1)(a) of Division A of Ontario Regulation 332/12 is amended by adding the following Subclause:

(xviii.1) section 17.4 of the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act with respect to the provision of a confirmation by the Registrar for the construction of a residential condominium conversion project,

2. Table 8.7.3.1A. of Division B of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Q/50”  in Column 2 of Item 3 and substituting “Q/30”.

3. Sentence 1.3.1.5.(1) of Division C of the Regulation is amended by adding the following Clause:

(l) section 17.4 of the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act with respect to the provision of a confirmation by the Registrar for the construction of a residential condominium conversion project.

Commencement

4. (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2018 and the day it is filed.

(2) Sections 1 and 3 come into force on the latest of,

(a) the day subsection 154 (7) of Schedule 1 to the Protecting Condominium Owners Act, 2015 comes into force;

(b) January 1, 2018; and

(c) the day this Regulation is filed.
