Payments may be made by cash, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX , Interac, certified cheque, money order or personal cheque payable to the Minister of Finance. Personal cheques must include pre-printed name, address, bank transit number and account number on the front of the cheque. Please do not send cash in the mail. You cannot pay by Visa, MasterCard or AMEX when using the mail-in service.

The Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) does not apply to government fees.

N.B. A $35.00 fee will be charged for any cheque returned as non-negotiable.

*** The expedited service fee is for the review of articles/applications within the specific service time. When documents are deficient, they will be returned to the client for amendment and the expedited service time no longer applies.

***** CIA Annual Returns integrated with the federal T2 or charities return are filed with the Canada Revenue Agency.
****** CIA Annual Returns standalone may be filed with the Service Providers under contract with the Ontario government. As of October 1, 2009 it is no longer possible to file the CIA Annual Returns with the Ontario Ministry of Revenue.
