Fall in Ontario is a treat. The leaves are all turning vivid shades of red, yellow and orange. Harvest season means all kinds of delicious flavours and vibrant colours in our gardens and on the table. And savouring a perfectly paired glass of Ontario wine at the Niagara Wine Festival is a great way to spend time with family and friends.
This year’s festival runs until September 29, with events throughout wine country and St. Catharines. It’s Canada’s largest annual celebration of our award-winning wineries and vineyards. We enjoyed showing off this wonderful corner of Ontario when Canada’s Premiers came to Niagara-on-the Lake — the first capital of Upper Canada — for the annual Council of the Federation meeting this past summer.
We hope you find time to enjoy this great festival, featuring some of Ontario’s most delicious fall offerings.
Can’t make the festival? Visit another of Ontario’s wine regions and experience a winery.
Experience wine country with the travel! The first Our Wine Country boutique has opened in St. Catharines and more may be coming soon to your local LCBO.
