- 1 tbsp (15 mL) each of butter and brown sugar
- 4 cooked and sliced Ontario Beets
- 1-1/2 tsp (7 mL) red wine vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) sour cream
In shallow microwaveable dish, melt 1 tbsp (15 mL) each butter and brown sugar at High for 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in 4 cooked and sliced Ontario Beets to coat well. Sprinkle with 1-1/2 tsp (7 mL) red wine vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir in 1/3 cup (75 mL) sour cream and microwave at Medium for 2 minutes or until warmed through. (Do not boil.)
