DESIGNATION OF COMMUNITY CARE ACCESS CORPORATIONS AS APPROVED AGENCIES

Status as approved agency

2. (1) Every community care access corporation is deemed under subsection 3 (1) of the Act to be an approved agency under the Long-Term Care Act, 1994. O. Reg. 33/02, s. 2 (1).

Note: On the day subsection 215 (1) of the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 comes into force, subsection (1) is amended by striking out “Long-Term Care Act, 1994” at the end and substituting “Home Care and Community Services Act, 1994”. See: O. Reg. 115/10, ss. 1 (1), 2.

(2) Each approved agency is approved to provide all of the professional services listed in subsection 2 (7) of the Long-Term Care Act, 1994. O. Reg. 33/02, s. 2 (2).

Note: On the day subsection 215 (1) of the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 comes into force, subsection (2) is amended by striking out “Long-Term Care Act, 1994” at the end and substituting “Home Care and Community Services Act, 1994”. See: O. Reg. 115/10, ss. 1 (2), 2.

(3) Each approved agency is approved to provide all of the personal support services listed in subsection 2 (6) of the Long-Term Care Act, 1994. O. Reg. 33/02, s. 2 (3).

Note: On the day subsection 215 (1) of the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 comes into force, subsection (3) is amended by striking out “Long-Term Care Act, 1994” at the end and substituting “Home Care and Community Services Act, 1994”. See: O. Reg. 115/10, ss. 1 (3), 2.

(4) Each approved agency is approved to provide the following homemaking services:

1. The services listed in paragraphs 1, 2, 5 to 10, 13 and 14 of subsection 2 (5) of the Long-Term Care Act, 1994.

Note: On the day subsection 215 (1) of the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 comes into force, paragraph 1 is amended by striking out “Long-Term Care Act, 1994” at the end and substituting “Home Care and Community Services Act, 1994”. See: O. Reg. 115/10, ss. 1 (4), 2.

2. The services listed in paragraphs 11 and 12 of subsection 2 (5) of the Long-Term Care Act, 1994, but only in connection with the services listed in paragraphs 1, 2 and 5 to 10 of that subsection. O. Reg. 33/02, s. 2 (4).
