Application

1. This Regulation applies with respect to the round of collective bargaining that begins in 2014.

Central Tables – Other Employees

CUPE central table

2. (1) The Canadian Union of Public Employees (“CUPE”) is designated under subsection 20 (1) of the Act as the employee bargaining agency for the employees of every school board in every bargaining unit for which CUPE and its affiliated trade unions are the bargaining agent, other than teachers’ bargaining units and the bargaining unit represented by CUPE Local 27.

(2) A council of the following trustees’ associations is designated under subsection 21 (6) of the Act as the employer bargaining agency for a central table for central bargaining with respect to employees in the bargaining units for which CUPE is designated under subsection (1) as the employee bargaining agency:

1. L’Association des conseils scolaires des écoles publiques de l’Ontario.

2. L’Association franco-ontarienne des conseils scolaires catholiques .

3. Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association.

4. Ontario Public School Boards’ Association.

(3) A central table is established under subsection 23 (2) of the Act for central bargaining by CUPE with respect to all of the bargaining units for which it is designated under subsection (1) as the employee bargaining agency.

ETFO central table

3. (1) The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (“ETFO”) is designated under subsection 20 (1) of the Act as the employee bargaining agency for the employees of every school board in every bargaining unit for which ETFO is the bargaining agent, other than teachers’ bargaining units.

(2) A council of the following trustees’ associations is designated under subsection 21 (6) of the Act as the employer bargaining agency for a central table for central bargaining with respect to employees in the bargaining units for which ETFO is designated under subsection (1) as the employee bargaining agency:

1. Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association.

2. Ontario Public School Boards’ Association.

(3) A central table is established under subsection 23 (2) of the Act for central bargaining by ETFO with respect to all of the bargaining units for which it is designated under subsection (1) as the employee bargaining agency.

OSSTF central table

4. (1) The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (“OSSTF”) is designated under subsection 20 (1) of the Act as the employee bargaining agency for the employees of every school board in every bargaining unit for which OSSTF is the bargaining agent, other than teachers’ bargaining units.

(2) A council of the following trustees’ associations is designated under subsection 21 (6) of the Act as the employer bargaining agency for a central table for central bargaining with respect to employees in the bargaining units for which OSSTF is designated under subsection (1) as the employee bargaining agency:

1. L’Association des conseils scolaires des écoles publiques de l’Ontario.

2. L’Association franco-ontarienne des conseils scolaires catholiques.

3. Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association.

4. Ontario Public School Boards’ Association.

(3) A central table is established under subsection 23 (2) of the Act for central bargaining by OSSTF with respect to all of the bargaining units for which it is designated under subsection (1) as the employee bargaining agency.

EWAO-ATEO central table

5. (1) In this section,

“Education Workers’ Alliance of Ontario — Alliance des travailleuses et travailleurs en éducation de l’Ontario” means a council of trade unions that is composed of the following constituent trade unions for the purposes of collective bargaining under the Act:

1. L’Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens.

2. Association of Professional Student Services Personnel.

3. Dufferin-Peel Educational Resource Workers’ Association.

4. Educational Assistants Association.

5. Halton District Educational Assistants Association.

6. Service Employees’ International Union, Local 2.

7. Unite Here, Local 272. O. Reg. 163/14, s. 1.

(2) Subject to subsection (3), the Education Workers’ Alliance of Ontario — Alliance des travailleuses et travailleurs en éducation de l’Ontario (“EWAO-ATEO”) is designated under subsection 20 (2) of the Act as the employee bargaining agency for the employees of every school board in every bargaining unit for which a constituent trade union of the agency is the bargaining agent. O. Reg. 163/14, s. 1.

(3) If, after being designated under subsection (2), the EWAO-ATEO ceases to represent at least 15 bargaining units as required for designation under subsection 20 (2) of the Act, the designation is no longer valid. O. Reg. 163/14, s. 1.

(4) A council of the following trustees’ associations is designated under subsection 21 (6) of the Act as the employer bargaining agency for a central table for central bargaining with respect to employees in the bargaining units for which EWAO-ATEO is designated under subsection (2) as the employee bargaining agency:

1. L’Association franco-ontarienne des conseils scolaires catholiques.

2. Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association.

(5) A central table is established under subsection 23 (2) of the Act for central bargaining by EWAO-ATEO with respect to all of the bargaining units for which it is designated under subsection (2) as the employee bargaining agency. O. Reg. 163/14, s. 1.

OCEW central table

6. (1) In this section,

“Ontario Council of Educational Workers” means a council of trade unions that is composed of the following constituent trade unions for the purposes of collective bargaining under the Act:

1. COPE Ontario and its Locals 103, 429, 454, 527 and 529.

2. Educational Resource Facilitators of Peel.

3. Essex and Kent Counties Skilled Trades Council.

4. Labourers’ International Union of North America, Local 837.

5. Maintenance and Construction Skilled Trades Council.

6. Ontario Public Service Employees Union. O. Reg. 163/14, s. 1.

(2) Subject to subsection (3), the Ontario Council of Educational Workers (“OCEW”) is designated under subsection 20 (2) of the Act as the employee bargaining agency for the employees of every school board in every bargaining unit for which a constituent trade union of the agency is the bargaining agent. (3) If, after being designated under subsection (2), the OCEW ceases to represent at least 15 bargaining units as required for designation under subsection 20 (2) of the Act, the designation is no longer valid. O. Reg. 163/14, s. 1.

(4) A council of the following trustees’ associations is designated under subsection 21 (6) of the Act as the employer bargaining agency for a central table for central bargaining with respect to employees in the bargaining units for which OCEW is designated under subsection (2) as the employee bargaining agency:
