You can receive your COVID-19 vaccine doses at participating pharmacies. All vaccines provided by Ontario offer strong protection against COVID-19 and its variants.
Most pharmacies book appointments ahead of time and some allow walk-ins. Check with the pharmacy before you go.
As of September 1, 2024, COVID-19 vaccines will not be available until the updated vaccine formulation receives Health Canada authorization and supply arrives in the fall.
Health Canada requires a full market withdrawal of previous COVID-19 vaccines to ensure supply of the updated vaccine is available in time for the upcoming respiratory illness season.
Individuals can receive their next dose of the COVID-19 vaccine when the updated formulation is available. Vaccination with the new formulation this fall will help ensure optimal protection when peak circulation of COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses are expected.
