The updated COVID-19 vaccine will be available for the general public aged 6 months and older at no cost, starting October 28, 2024.

You can receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the same time as, or at any time before or after the flu shot or other routine vaccinations. Most pharmacies that offer vaccines will have both COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots available (check with your pharmacy before you go).

COVID-19 vaccine administration for children 6 months to under 5 years old may vary from pharmacy to pharmacy. Contact the pharmacy before booking an appointment or learn where to get the updated COVID-19 vaccine. Children 6 months to 2 years old must get their flu shot from a doctor, a nurse practitioner, or a local public health unit. Children under 2 years old cannot get a flu shot at a pharmacy.
