(CALCULATION OF FEES FOR PUPILS FOR THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL BOARD FISCAL YEAR)
1. (1) The definitions of “continuing education A.D.E. of all pupils of a board” and “summer school A.D.E. of all pupils of a board” in subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 77/14 are revoked.
(2) Subsection 1 (3) of the Regulation is revoked.
2. (1) Subparagraph 3 iv of subsection 3 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “under section 21” and substituting “under subsection 21 (1)”.
(2) Subparagraph 3 iii of subsection 3 (4) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “under section 21” and substituting “under subsection 21 (1)”.
(3) Section 3 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:
(10) For the purposes of subsection (2), the day school A.D.E. of a pupil is the day school A.D.E. of other pupils of the board, calculated as if the pupil were the board’s only pupil.
3. (1) Subsection 8 (4) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:
3. Multiply the result obtained under paragraph 2 by the continuing education A.D.E. of the pupil.
(2) Section 8 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:
(4.1) For the purposes of subsection (4),
(a) the continuing education A.D.E. of all pupils of a board is the sum of the average daily enrolments determined for the board under sections 15 and 16 of the A.D.E. regulation; and
(b) the continuing education A.D.E. of a pupil is the continuing education A.D.E. of other pupils of the board, calculated as if the pupil were the board’s only pupil.
(3) Subsection 8 (5) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:
3. Multiply the result obtained under paragraph 2 by the summer school A.D.E. of the pupil.
(4) Section 8 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subsection:
(5.1) For the purposes of subsection (5),
(a) the summer school A.D.E. of all pupils of a board is the sum of the average daily enrolments determined for the board under sections 18 and 19 of the A.D.E. regulation; and
(b) the summer school A.D.E. of a pupil is the summer school A.D.E. of other pupils of the board, calculated as if the pupil were the board’s only pupil.
Commencement
4. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
