Amending O. Reg. 79/10
(GENERAL)
1. (1) Section 1 of Ontario Regulation 79/10 is amended by adding the following definition:
“2015 design manual” means the document titled “Long-Term Care Home Design Manual, 2015”, published by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, and which is available from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care; (“manuel de conception de 2015”)
(2) Clause (a) of the definition of “private room” in section 1 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “the 2009 design manual” and substituting “the 2009 design manual, the 2015 design manual”.
(3) Clause (a) of the definition of “semi-private room” in section 1 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “the 2009 design manual” and substituting “the 2009 design manual, the 2015 design manual”.
(4) Clause (a) of the definition of “standard room” in section 1 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “2009 design manual” and substituting “the 2009 design manual, the 2015 design manual”.
2. The first row of the Table to section 18 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “Homes to which the 2009 design manual applies” and substituting “Homes to which the 2009 design manual or 2015 design manual applies”.
3. Subsection 77 (3) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “The Director” at the beginning and substituting “An inspector”.
4. The Regulation is amended by adding the following section:
Dissolution
286.1 The Board of Management for the District of Algoma is dissolved.
5. Paragraph 16 of subsection 318 (1) of the Regulation is revoked.
6. Schedule 1 to the Regulation is revoked.
Commencement
7. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2016 and the day it is filed.
