Amending O. Reg. 282/98
(GENERAL)
1. (1) The definition of “Commissioner” in section 33 of Ontario Regulation 282/98 is revoked.
(2) Section 33 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following definition:
“Tribunal” means the Mining and Lands Tribunal continued under section 6 of the Ministry of Natural Resources Act.
2. (1) The definition of “Commissioner” in section 37 of the Regulation is revoked.
(2) Section 37 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following definition:
“Tribunal” means the Mining and Lands Tribunal continued under section 6 of the Ministry of Natural Resources Act.
3. The Regulation is amended by striking out “Commissioner” wherever it appears in the following provisions and substituting in each case “Tribunal”:
1. Section 35.
2. Subsection 36 (2).
3. Section 39.
4. Subsection 40 (2).
4. This Regulation comes into force on April 1, 2018 or, if this Regulation is filed after that date, it is deemed to have come into force on that date.
