Amending O. Reg. 409/07
(MORTGAGE BROKERS AND AGENTS: LICENSING)
1. Sections 1, 2, 2.1, 4, 5, 5.1, 7, 8 and 10 of Ontario Regulation 409/07 are amended by striking out “the Superintendent” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “the Chief Executive Officer”.
2. The Regulation is amended by adding the following section:

11. (1) An approval or other decision made by the Superintendent under this Regulation, as it read prior to the day section 1 of Schedule 17 to the Plan for Care and Opportunity Act (Budget Measures), 2018 came into force, is deemed to have been made by the Chief Executive Officer.
(2) A condition imposed on a certificate by the Superintendent under this Regulation, as it read prior to the day section 1 of Schedule 17 to the Plan for Care and Opportunity Act (Budget Measures), 2018 came into force, is deemed to have been imposed by the Chief Executive Officer.
Commencement
3. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 1 of Schedule 17 to the Plan for Care and Opportunity Act (Budget Measures), 2018 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
