Amending O. Reg. 79/10
(GENERAL)
1. The definition of “licensed bed capacity” in section 1 of Ontario Regulation 79/10 is amended by adding “and” at the end of clause (a), by striking out “and” at the end of clause (b) and by revoking clause (c).
2. Subsection 225 (1) of the Regulation is amended by adding the following paragraph:
6. Any notice of public consultation that the Director provides to the licensee and identifies to be for posting in the home.
3. Section 273 of the Regulation is revoked.
4. Subsection 277 (2) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “more than 60 days” at the end and substituting “more than one year”.
5. Sections 278 and 279 of the Regulation are revoked.
6. Paragraph 1 of section 285 of the Regulation is amended by striking out “In subsections 276 (2) and 279 (2)” at the beginning and substituting “In subsection 276 (2)”.
7. Subsection 306 (2) of the Regulation is amended by adding “or” at the end of clause (c) and by revoking clauses (d) and (e) and substituting the following:
(d) beds that are being closed because the home is being closed.
8. Section 324 of the Regulation is revoked.
Commencement
9. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 8 of Schedule 8 to the Restoring Ontario’s Competitiveness Act, 2019 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
