Amending Reg. 664 of R.R.O. 1990
(AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE)
1. (1) Paragraph 1 of subsection 16 (7) of Regulation 664 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked and the following substituted:
1. The bond of association in respect of the credit union for the purposes of subsection 32 (1) of the Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020 is a common bond of occupation or association.
(2) The definition of “credit union” in subsection 16 (15) of the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:
“credit union” means a credit union within the meaning of the Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020; (“caisse populaire”)
Commencement
2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of the day section 1 of Schedule 7 (Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020) to the Protect, Support and Recover from COVID-19 Act (Budget Measures), 2020 comes into force and the day this Regulation is filed.
