Additional Object of the Corporation

Object re transit-oriented communities

1. (1) The following is prescribed as an additional object of the Corporation:

1.  To support the development of transit-oriented community projects as defined in the Transit-Oriented Communities Act, 2020.

(2) For greater certainty, in carrying out its object as described in paragraph 1 of subsection (1), the Corporation may,

(a)  acquire, by expropriation or otherwise, interests in real or personal property; or

(b)  hold, lease, dispose of interests in real or personal property.

Commencement

2. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
