Amending O. Reg. 82/98

(GENERAL)

1. Section 7 of Ontario Regulation 82/98 is amended by striking out “Ottawa-Gatineau” and substituting “London, for Ottawa-Gatineau”.

2. The Regulation is amended by adding the following section:

Prescribed Services, Subs. 35 (3) of the Act

11.2 The following services are prescribed for the purposes of subsection 35 (3) of the Act:

1. Storm water drainage and control services.

2. Electrical power services.

3. Toronto-York subway extension, as defined in subsection 5.1 (1) of the Act.

4. Yonge North subway extension, as defined in subsection 5.1.1 (1) of the Act.

5. Transit services other than the Toronto-York subway extension and the Yonge North subway extension.

6. Waste diversion services.

7. Policing services.

8. Fire protection services.

9. Ambulance services.

10. Services provided by a board within the meaning of the Public Libraries Act.

11. Services related to long-term care.

12. Parks and recreation services, but not the acquisition of land for parks.

13. Services related to public health.

14. Child care and early years programs and services within the meaning of Part VI of the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 and any related services.

15. Services related to proceedings under the Provincial Offences Act, including by-law enforcement services and municipally administered court services.

16. Services related to emergency preparedness.

17. Services related to airports, but only in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo.

Commencement

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
