(DESIGNATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF PROVINCIAL PARKS)

1. (1) The item for Alfred Bog Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to Ontario Regulation 316/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Alfred Bog Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class)

In the Geographic Township of Alfred, Municipal Township of Alfred and Plantagenet, United Counties of Prescott and Russell, and in the Geographic Township of Caledonia, Municipality of the Nation, United Counties of Prescott and Russell, containing 3,208 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 9, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Alfred Bog Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on March 10, 2023 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

(2) The item for Awenda Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

The following areas, containing 3,025 hectares, more or less:
1.  In the Geographic Township of Tiny, Municipal Township of Tiny, County of Simcoe, the area being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 and 2 on a plan known as Plan of Awenda Provincial Park, filed on August 28, 1995 in the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
2.  In the Municipal Township of Tiny, County of Simcoe, the area being composed of:
i. Part of the west half of Lot 7, Concession 20, Geographic Township of Tiny, as in instrument RO1438949, comprising all of Property Identification Number 74037-0096 in the Land Titles Division of Simcoe (No. 51).
ii. Parcel 3-1 Section 51-Tiny-18, part of Lot 3, Concession 18, Geographic Township of Tiny, part of Lot 4, Concession 18, Geographic Township of Tiny, part of the road allowance between Lots 3 and 4, Concession 18, (closed by by-law 324, instrument 1199260), Geographic Township of Tiny, designated as Part 1 on Reference Plan 51R-23550, comprising all of Property Identification Number 74037-0128 in the Land Titles Division of Simcoe (No. 51).

vi. Lot 17 on Plan of Subdivision No. 1285, Geographic Township of Tiny, part of Giants Tomb Island, Geographic Township of Tiny, subject to instrument RO405071, comprising all of Property Identification Number 58424-0429 in the Land Titles Division of Simcoe (No. 51).
vii. Lots 18 and 19 on Plan of Subdivision No. 1285, Geographic Township of Tiny, part of Giants Tomb Island, Geographic Township of Tiny, comprising all of Property Identification Number 58424-0430 in the Land Titles Division of Simcoe (No. 51).

 

(3) The item for Bass Lake Provincial Park (Recreational Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

The following areas, containing 247 hectares, more or less:
1. In the Geographic Township of Orillia (Southern Division), Municipal Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe, the area being composed of that part of the geographic township designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of Bass Lake Provincial Park (Recreational Class), filed on August 12, 2013 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
2.  In the Municipal Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe, the area being composed of:
i. Part of Lot 5, Concession 13, Geographic Township of Oro, as in instrument RO270365, comprising all of Property Identification Number 58531-0081 in the Land Titles Division of Simcoe (No. 51).
ii. Part of Lots 4 and 5, Concession 12, Geographic Township of Oro, as in instruments RO270159, RO262754, RO258459, RO252237, comprising all of Property Identification Number 58531-0013 in the Land Titles Division of Simcoe (No. 51).
iii. Part of Lot 4, Concession 13, Geographic Township of Oro, as in instrument RO270365, comprising all of Property Identification Number 58531-0076 in the Land Titles Division of Simcoe (No. 51).
iv. The east half of Lot 3, Concession 12, as in instrument RO259956, and part of Lot 4, Concession 12, as in instrument RO260856, Geographic Township of Oro, comprising all of Property Identification Number 58531-0010 in the Land Titles Division of Simcoe (No. 51).

 

(4) The item for Bayview Escarpment Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

In the Geographic Townships of St. Vincent and Sydenham, Municipality of Meaford, County of Grey, containing 612 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 4, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Bayview Escarpment Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on December 4, 2024 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(5) The item for Brockville Long Swamp Fen Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Brockville Long Swamp Fen Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class)

The following areas, containing 218 hectares, more or less:
1.  In the Geographic Township of Elizabethtown, Municipal Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley, United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, the area being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 4, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Brockville Long Swamp Fen Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class), filed on August 5, 2016 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
2. The area being composed of all of the north half of Lot 13, Concession 6, Geographic Township of Elizabethtown, as in instrument LR69981, comprising all of Property Identification Number 44149-0058 in the Land Titles Division of Leeds (No. 28).

 

(6) The item for Chapleau-Nemegosenda River Provincial Park (Waterway Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked.

(7) Table 1 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following item:

 

Chapleau-Nemegosenda Rivers Provincial Park (Waterway Class)

In the Geographic Townships of Alcorn, Bonar, Collins, Copperfield, D’Arcy, Lincoln, McGee, Pattinson, Paul, Racine, Sadler and Sherlock, Territorial District of Sudbury and in the Geographic Townships of Kapuskasing and Lougheed, Territorial District of Algoma, containing 21,952 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 14, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Chapleau-Nemegosenda Rivers Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on January 18, 2022, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

(8) The item for Chutes Provincial Park (Recreational Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

The following areas, containing 109 hectares, more or less:
1.  The area described in Schedule 78, Appendix B.
2.  Part of the northeast quarter of Section 25, Geographic Township of Salter, being the area composed of all of unit 10, index Plan D-252, comprising all of Property Identification Number 73423-0022 in the Land Titles Division of Sudbury (No. 53).

 

(9) The item for Emily Provincial Park (Recreational Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Emily Provincial Park (Recreational Class)

The following areas, containing 113 hectares, more or less:
1.  The area described in Schedule 3, Appendix B.
2.  In the City of Kawartha Lakes, the area being composed of:
i. The north half of Lot 11, Concession 5, Geographic Township of Emily, comprising all of Property Identification Number 63256-0476 in the Land Titles Division of Victoria (No. 57).
ii. Part of Lot 12, Concession 5, being all of Lot 1, Registrar’s Compiled Plan No. 2, Geographic Township of Emily, comprising all of Property Identification Number 63256-0219 in the Land Titles Division of Victoria (No. 57). 

 

(10) The item for Forks of the Credit Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

The following areas, containing 289 hectares, more or less:
1.  In the Geographic Township of Caledon, Town of Caledon, Regional Municipality of Peel, being the area composed of part of the east half of Lot 12, part of the west halves of Lots 11 and 13, and all of the west half of Lot 12, Concession 3 West of Hurontario Street, part of the east halves of Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, and part of the west halves of Lots 12 and 13, Concession 4 West of Hurontario Street as shown on the plan of the Geographic Township of Caledon, designated as Parts 1 to 6, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Forks of the Credit Provincial Park, approved on September 21, 1993 and filed in the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
2.  In the Town of Caledon, Regional Municipality of Peel, the area being composed of:
i. Part of Lot 8, Concession 4 West of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Caledon, as in instrument CA26417, excepting Plan of Subdivision No. 762, Geographic Township of Caledon, comprising all of Property Identification Number 14268-0080 in the Land Titles Division of Peel (No. 43).
ii. Part of Lot 12, Plan of Subdivision No. 762, designated as Part 1 on Reference Plan 43R-32289, Geographic Township of Caledon, comprising all of Property Identification Number 14268-0415 in the Land Titles Division of Peel (No. 43).
iii. Part of the road allowance between Concessions 3 and 4 West of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Caledon, between instrument RO530342 (as stopped up and closed by bylaw 2018-53 as in instrument PR3359199) and the area designated as Part 2 on Reference Plan 43R-16906, Geographic Township of Caledon, comprising all of Property Identification Number 14271-0117 in the Land Titles Division of Peel (No. 43).
iv. Part of Lot 14, Concession 4 West of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Caledon, as in instrument CA22405 (thirdly), subject to instrument CA22405, Geographic Township of Caledon, comprising all of Property Identification Number 14271-0162 in the Land Titles Division of Peel (No. 43).
v. Part of John Street, Plan No. CAL11, Geographic Township of Caledon, southeast of Cataract Road (as stopped up and closed by bylaw 2018-53 as in instrument PR3359199), Geographic Township of Caledon, comprising all of Property Identification Number 14271-0175 in the Land Titles Division of Peel (No. 43).
vi. Part of the road allowance between Concessions 3 and 4 West of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Caledon, designated as Part 5 on Reference Plan 43R-33647, Part 1 on Reference Plan 43R-33649 and Part 1 on Reference Plan 43R-33650 closed by bylaw PR3359199, comprising all of Property Identification Number 14271-0381 in the Land Titles Division of Peel (No. 43).

 

(11) The item for Hockley Valley Provincial Park (Nature Reserve Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

The following areas, containing 422 hectares, more or less:
1.  In the Geographic Township of Mono, Town of Mono, County of Dufferin, the area being composed of that part of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 5, both inclusive, on a plan known as Central-Hockley Valley, approved on May 1, 1989 and filed in the office of the Regional Director for the Central Administrative Region of the Ministry of Natural Resources at Richmond Hill, Ontario located in the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.
2.  In the Town of Mono, County of Dufferin, the area being composed of:
i. Part of Lot 12, Concession 1 East of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Mono, as in instrument MF106820, together with instrument MF106820, comprising all of Property Identification Number 34093-0022 in the Land Titles Division of Dufferin (No.7).
ii. Part of Lot 11, Concession 2 East of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Mono, designated as Part 1 on Reference Plan 7R-896, Part 1 on Reference Plan 7R-895 and Part 1 on Reference Plan 7R-761, comprising all of Property Identification Number 34093-0075 in the Land Titles Division of Dufferin (No.7).
iii. Part of Lots 11 to 14, both inclusive, Concession 3 East of Hurontario Street, Geographic Township of Mono, as in instruments MF64705, MF65065, MF159072, MF128492, MF67387 and MF68835, excepting Part 1 and Part 2 on Reference Plan 7R-2282, comprising part of Property Identification Number 34093-0124 in the Land Titles Division of Dufferin (No.7).

(12) The item for MacGregor Point Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

In the Geographic Township of Bruce, Municipality of Kincardine, and in the Geographic Township of Saugeen, Town of Saugeen Shores, County of Bruce, containing 1,492 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 5, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of MacGregor Point Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on November 28, 2024 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(13) The item for Pretty River Valley Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

In the Geographic Township of Collingwood, Town of the Blue Mountains, County of Grey, containing 1,099 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 to 8, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Pretty River Valley Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on November 28, 2024 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(14) The item for Sandbar Lake Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

In the Geographic Townships of Gour and Skey, and in the Geographic Township of Ignace, Municipal Township of Ignace, and in unsurveyed territory, in the Territorial District of Kenora, containing 8,079 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships and unsurveyed territory designated as Parts 1 to 4, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Sandbar Lake Provincial Park (Natural Environment Class), filed on September 14, 2022, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

 

(15) The item for Turtle River-White Otter Lake Provincial Park (Waterway Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Turtle River-White Otter Lake Provincial Park (Waterway Class)

In unsurveyed territory, in the Territorial Districts of Kenora and Rainy River, containing 49,322 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said unsurveyed territories designated as Parts 1 to 16, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Turtle River-White Otter Lake Provincial Park (Waterway Class), filed on April 11, 2003, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in unsurveyed territory, in the Territorial District of Rainy River, designated as Part 1, on a plan known as Plan of the Boundary of the 2024 Turtle River-White Otter Lake Provincial Park Addition (Waterway Class), filed on August 20, 2024, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

(16) The item for Voyageur Provincial Park (Recreational Class) in Table 1 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

 

Voyageur Provincial Park (Recreational Class)

In the Geographic Township of East Hawkesbury, Municipal Township of East Hawkesbury, United Counties of Prescott and Russell, containing 1,466 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic township designated as Parts 1 and 2 on a plan known as Voyageur Provincial Park (Recreational Class), filed on January 24, 2017, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of East Hawkesbury, Municipal Township of East Hawkesbury, United Counties of Prescott and Russell, designated as Part 1, on a plan known as Plan of the 2024 Voyageur Provincial Park Addition (Recreational Class), filed on October 8, 2024, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

 

2. The French version of the Regulation is amended by striking out “plus ou moins, composées” wherever it appears and substituting in each case “plus ou moins, les terres constituées”.
