Amending O. Reg. 745/21

(GENERAL)

1. Ontario Regulation 745/21 is amended by adding the following section immediately after the heading “Miscellaneous”:

Interpretation: purchase, sale and delivery under the authority of the LCBO

19.1 For greater certainty, any reference in the Act to the purchase, sale or delivery of liquor under the authority of the LCBO includes the sale and delivery of liquor by a manufacturer in a province or territory of Canada, other than Ontario, to a consumer in Ontario, and the corresponding purchase of that liquor by that consumer, in situations in which the sale, delivery or purchase is carried out under the terms of an agreement between the manufacturer and the LCBO.

2. Paragraph 3 of section 25 of the Regulation is amended by adding “including under the terms of an agreement between a manufacturer in another province or territory of Canada and the LCBO”.

3. Section 30 of the Regulation is revoked.

4. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
