Amending Reg. 950 of R.R.O. 1990

(PROCEEDINGS COMMENCED BY CERTIFICATE OF OFFENCE)

1. Items 490.1 to 490.6 of Schedule 43 to Regulation 950 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 are revoked.

2. Schedule 52.1.2 to the Regulation is revoked.

3. Schedule 84 to the Regulation is amended by adding the following items:

 

73.1	Provide towing services in a restricted towing zone — not authorized	subsection 41 (3)
73.2	Provide towing services not specified by the Ministry in a restricted towing zone	subsection 41 (3.1)
73.3	Tow truck in restricted towing zone not marked as required	subsection 42 (1)
73.4	Drive tow truck improperly displaying specified information in a restricted towing zone	subsection 42 (2)
73.5	Fail to carry proof of authorization in a restricted towing zone	section 43

 

Commencement

4. (1) Except as otherwise provided in this section, this Regulation comes into force on the latest of the following days:

1.  April 1, 2026.

2.  The day section 4 of Schedule 5 to the Reducing Gridlock, Saving You Time Act, 2024 comes into force.

3.  The day this Regulation is filed.

(2) Section 1 comes into force on the day this Regulation is filed.
