Amending O. Reg. 315/07

(DESIGNATION OF CONSERVATION RESERVES)

1. Schedule 37 to Ontario Regulation 315/07 is revoked and the following substituted:

Schedule 37
ISLAND LAKE FOREST AND BARRENS CONSERVATION RESERVE

In the Geographic Townships of Brown and Wilson, and in the Geographic Townships of Bruton and McKenzie, Municipality of Whitestone, Territorial District of Parry Sound, containing 15,552 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 and 2 on a plan known as Plan of C106 Island Lake Forest & Barrens Conservation Reserve, filed on March 23, 2007 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Ferrie, Municipality of Whitestone, Territorial District of Parry Sound, designated as Parts 1 and 2 on a plan known as Plan of the 2026 Island Lake Forest and Barrens Conservation Reserve Addition, filed on March 2, 2026 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

2. Schedule 88 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

RAWHIDE LAKE CONSERVATION RESERVE

In the Geographic Townships of Sagard, Raimbault, Viel and Piche, Territorial District of Algoma, containing 4,636 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of C244 Rawhide Lake Conservation Reserve, filed on January 15, 2001 with the Office of the Surveyor General in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Sagard, Territorial District of Algoma, designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of the Boundary of the 2024 Rawhide Lake Conservation Reserve Addition, filed on February 26, 2026 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

3. Schedule 108 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

GLENN N. CROMBIE CONSERVATION RESERVE

In the Geographic Townships of Buckles and Joubin, City of Elliott Lake, and in the Geographic Townships of Gaiashk and Lehman, Territorial District of Algoma, containing 7,001 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 12, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of C227 Glenn N. Crombie Conservation Reserve, filed on January 15, 2001 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Gaiashk, Territorial District of Algoma, designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of the Boundary of the 2024 Glenn N. Crombie Conservation Reserve Addition, filed on February 26, 2026 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

4. Schedule 114 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

BRUCE LAKE CONSERVATION RESERVE

In unsurveyed territory, Municipal Township of Ear Falls, Territorial District of Kenora, containing 5,720 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said territorial district designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of C2332 Bruce Lake Conservation Reserve, filed on December 20, 2001 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, and that area of land in unsurveyed territory, Territorial District of Kenora, designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of the Boundary of the 2025 Bruce Lake Conservation Reserve Addition, filed on February 26, 2026 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

5. Schedule 116 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

COGNASHENE LAKE CONSERVATION RESERVE

The following areas, containing 2,982 hectares, more or less:

1. In the Geographic Township of Gibson, Municipal Township of Georgian Bay, District Municipality of Muskoka, being composed of Parts 1 to 20, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of C35 Cognashene Lake Conservation Reserve, filed on March 23, 2007 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

2. In the Municipal Township of Georgian Bay, District Municipality of Muskoka, the area being composed of Lot 36, Concession 12, Geographic Township of Gibson, comprising all of Property Identification Number 48008-0464 in the Land Titles Division of Muskoka (No. 35).

6. Schedule 222 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

SEVERN RIVER CONSERVATION RESERVE

The following areas, containing 9,950 hectares, more or less:

1. In the Geographic Township of Baxter, Municipal Township of Georgian Bay, and in the Geographic Township of Wood, Municipal Township of Muskoka Lakes, and in the Town of Gravenhurst, all in the District Municipality of Muskoka, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 97, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Severn River Conservation Reserve, filed on August 5, 2016 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.

2. In the Town of Gravenhurst, District Municipality of Muskoka, the area being composed of:

i. Lot 6, Concession 17, Geographic Township of Wood, comprising all of Property Identification Number 48036-0049 in the Land Titles Division of Muskoka (No. 35).

ii. Part of broken Lot 3, Concession 20, Geographic Township of Wood, as in instrument PM1966, except LT4645, comprising all of Property Identification Number 48038-0047 in the Land Titles Division of Muskoka (No. 35).

7. Schedule 286 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

LAKE OF THE WOODS CONSERVATION RESERVE

In the Geographic Townships of Boys, Forgie and Glass and in the Geographic Townships of Devonshire, Manross, Macquarrie, McGeorge, Phillips, Tweedsmuir, Willingdon and unsurveyed territory, Municipal Township of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls, and in unsurveyed territory, Territorial District of Kenora, and in unsurveyed territory, Municipal Township of Lake of the Woods and unsurveyed territory, Territorial District of Rainy River, containing 45,928 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships and unsurveyed territory designated as Parts 1 to 31, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of C2366 Lake of the Woods Conservation Reserve, filed on April 5, 2005 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, except that area of land in unsurveyed territory, Territorial District of Kenora, being part of Location CL 15304 designated as Part 2 on Reference Plan 23R-11723, contained within the extents of Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of C2366 Lake of the Woods Conservation Reserve, filed on April 5, 2005 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and that area of land in the Geographic Townships of Macquarrie, Willingdon and unsurveyed territory, Municipal Township of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls, Territorial District of Kenora, and in unsurveyed territory, Municipal Township of Lake of the Woods, Territorial District of Rainy River, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships and unsurveyed territory designated as Parts 1 to 21, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of the Boundary of the 2023 Lake of the Woods Conservation Reserve Removals, filed on October 31, 2023 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, and that area of land in the Geographic Township of Willingdon, Municipal Township of Sioux Narrows-Nester Falls, Territorial District of Kenora designated as Part 1 on a plan known as Plan of the 2026 Lake of the Woods Conservation Reserve Removal, filed on February 26, 2026 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

8. The title of Schedule 299 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “River”.

9. The Regulation is amended by adding the following Schedules:

Pearson Township Conservation Reserve

In the Geographic Township of Pearson, Municipality of Neebing, Territorial District of Thunder Bay, containing 548 hectares, more or less, being composed of that part of the said geographic township designated as Part 1, on a plan known as Plan of Pearson Township Conservation Reserve, filed on February 26, 2026 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Western Lake Superior Conservation Reserve

In the Geographic Townships of Blake and Crooks, Municipality of Neebing, Territorial District of Thunder Bay, containing 1,198 hectares, more or less, being composed of those parts of the said geographic townships designated as Parts 1 to 38, both inclusive, on a plan known as Plan of Western Lake Superior Conservation Reserve, filed on February 26, 2026 with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources.

Commencement

10. This Regulation comes into force on the later of July 1, 2026 and the day this Regulation is filed.
