The Government of Ontario is organizing a webinar to explore technology-related opportunities for international companies as Saudi Arabia strives to become a dominant manufacturing player in the world.
Curbing reliance on traditional oil and gas, Saudi Arabia and other GCC states intend to secure more stable revenue sources, sustainable employment, and increased export potential in their push toward smart factories. Smart manufacturing techniques at the factory level are touted to boost operational efficiency, improve production and process quality, save energy, cut costs and provide predictive maintenance.
The program will outline opportunities for Ontario companies to sell solutions to Saudi Arabia, including Industrial IoT, artificial intelligence, digital twins, cybersecurity and augmented reality. Discussions will also highlight the demand for automation and robotics, big data analytics, cloud computing and additive manufacturing.
