Ontario technology companies are invited to take part in the 9th Ontario AI & SaaS Global Sourcing Program with a focus on New York, scheduled for Wednesday, May 28 (11 am – 1 pm EST - agenda below). The Global Sourcing Program is designed for large international corporations and investors interested in sourcing or doing business with leading-edge technology from Ontario, Canada. The program is implemented with the support of the Ontario Trade and Investment Office in New York. The buyers will present ONLINE (11:00 am to 12:45pm) and the Ontario attendees can participate either online via Zoom or in Person with a pre-webinar networking event in downtown Toronto - detailswill be sent after registering.
Confirmed participants include Citi Innovation Labs - a global network of innovation centers focused on delivering cutting edge solutions to all of Citi’s lines of business with a a global presence in 180 countries; Enel North America - an Italian multinational energy group and the world’s largest private renewable producer in installed capacity; Nabtesco USA - the U.S subsidiary of the Japanese engineering, transportation and manufacturing company of the same name with over 7,000 employees; the Pittsburgh International Airport - a civil/military international airport in Pennsylvania and managed by the Allegheny County Airport Authority; and Connectic Venture - a data-driven VC firm with 8 investments in Canadian startups.
The participating corporations are seeking AI agents to streamline workflows and Code conversion tools transforming legacy code into modern languages; AI & IoT solutions that support the digitization of renewable energy management including forecasting as well as grid reliability and efficiency; sensing and data solution technologies integrated with motion and flow control technologies especially in oil and gas, clean tech, and new energy industries; start ups interested in pre-seed, seed, & series A with valuation $5M–$8M typical pre-money flexible up to $20M in any industry; Workday HCM and Finance solution experts, Service Now EAM solution experts, and Data Science experts.
Deadline to register: Monday, May 26, 2025. After registering, you will receive the Zoom link (11 am 1pm) as well as information on a pre-event in person activity (10 am to 11 am) .
Only those in attendance on May 28 and with corporate email addresses will be eligible for B2B meetings with the buyers.
