The Government of Ontario continues to support Ontario businesses in expanding globally through targeted export business missions. Companies are invited to participate in the Ontario ICT export business mission to MWC 2027 in Barcelona, Spain.

 MWC Barcelona is the world’s largest and most influential annual exhibition for the mobile technology and connectivity industry with over 109,000 visitors from 205 countries and territories and over 2,900 exhibitors. 

MWC provides an excellent showcase of Ontario mobile technology products, and solutions and provides companies with key opportunities to build business partnerships in the European market, with the intention of unlocking new export markets in Europe and increasing exports for Ontario companies already active in the markets.

MWC attracts some of the industry’s most important decision-makers and the show is regarded as the best place to find new clients and partners and to network with leading players in the mobile and communication technology industry worldwide.

The mission program will include: 

• 1:1 export advice and consultation
• A pre-event Virtual Market Seminar
• Market and sector briefings to provide updates on trends and opportunities in key European markets
• Individual co-exhibitor turn-in ready kiosk within the Ontario/Canada pavilion.
• 3 exhibitor passes
• B2B matchmaking and networking opportunities
• Marketing and promotional support 
• On-site assistance during the trade show 

The mission will be delivered in close collaboration with Ontario’s Trade and Investment Offices in Europe, the Trade Commissioner Service, and relevant industry associations.

 

Booths will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Companies that complete payment first will have priority in selecting their booth location. Applications will be reviewed and approved as they are received, so it’s important that companies complete the registration by paying the fee promptly to secure their spot.
