Ontario Export Business Mission to the Genesis/RESI Conferences and Genesis Fringe Events

 

The Government of Ontario in collaboration with the Ontario Trade and Investment Office, London, UK, is organizing a Life Science Export Business Mission to the Genesis Conference and Partnering, the Redefining Early Stage Investments Conference and Partnering (RESI London) and several Fringe Events from December 1-5, 2025.

This Export Business Mission has been designed to introduce Ontario life science companies to business and investment opportunities in the UK. Given the ongoing uncertainty in the US, and the cooling of investment and partnering opportunities, federal and provincial governments are encouraging companies to look to alternative markets including the UK.   London, UK, a global leader in life sciences, is the 3rd top global city in Europe dedicated to life sciences, with 2,700 life sciences companies, and 19 of the top 20 global pharma companies. 

 

This week-long series of life sciences events has five components: December 1st- Meetings with members of the UK life sciences ecosystem/series of Fringe Events;  December 2nd-Fundraising Bootcamp; December 3rd-Genesis Conference and Partnering; December 4th-RESI Business Partnering Conference; and December 5th-Table-top meeting with local investors, Canadian High Commission.  

 

RESI London and Genesis are joining forces to offer a multi-day investment, partnering and thought leadership event for companies seeking funding and strategic alliances.  Mission participants will have a unique opportunity to find investors and strategic partners in the UK market.
 

The Genesis Conference, organized by One Nucleus, Cambridge, UK, offers Ontario companies introductions to the UK life sciences ecosystem. This one-day event will provide companies with an opportunity to learn about the UK ecosystem and meet potential partners and investors. Mission participants will have access to the Genesis Conference Partnering App.  For more information about the Genesis Conference please click on the links below:

The RESI Conference, organized by Life Science Nation, offers a partnership platform designed to assist early-stage life sciences companies find investors and partners.  The investors attending RESI represent a large pool of capital; RESI’s partnering system allows early-stage fundraising companies to find investors and strategic partners. The RESI conference consists of two key components: the partnering platform and the educational sessions designed to provide an opportunity for companies to learn about the investment environment, and meet industry experts who can be solid sources of contacts and assistance.  For more information about the Life Science Nation organization and RESI London, please click on the link below:
