On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

 

Cutting Red Tape, Building Ontario Act, 2024

 

1. July 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Cutting Red Tape, Building Ontario Act, 2024, c. 28, which amend the Statutory Powers Procedure Act, come into force:

 

Schedule 25, s. 1, 2.

 

2. July 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Cutting Red Tape, Building Ontario Act, 2024, c. 28, which amends the Assessment Review Board Act, comes into force:

 

Schedule 25, s. 3.

 

3. July 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Cutting Red Tape, Building Ontario Act, 2024, c. 28, which amends the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017, comes into force:

 

Schedule 25, s. 4.

 

4. July 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Cutting Red Tape, Building Ontario Act, 2024, c. 28, which amends the Human Rights Code, comes into force:

 

Schedule 25, s. 6.

 

5. July 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Cutting Red Tape, Building Ontario Act, 2024, c. 28, which amends the Intercountry Adoption Act, 1998, comes into force:

 

Schedule 25, s. 7.

 

6. July 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Cutting Red Tape, Building Ontario Act, 2024, c. 28, which amends the Ontario Works Act, 1997, comes into force:

 

Schedule 25, s. 8.

The Order in Council was shown as having been recommended by the Solicitor General. In fact, the Order in Council was recommended by the Attorney General.

This error was corrected on June 10, 2026.
