relating to the

Budget Measures Act, 2015

Ordered: July 31, 2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

 

Budget Measures Act, 2015

 

1. October 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Budget Measures Act, 2015, c. 38, which amends the Business Corporations Act, comes into force:

 

Schedule 7, s. 44 (17).

 

2. October 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Budget Measures Act, 2015, c. 38, which amends the Corporations Act, comes into force:

 

Schedule 7, s. 47 (20).

 

3. October 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Budget Measures Act, 2015, c. 38, which amends the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010, comes into force:

 

Schedule 7, s. 55 (19).

 

4. October 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Budget Measures Act, 2015, c. 38, which amends the Personal Property Security Act, comes into force:

 

Schedule 7, s. 57 (3).

This Order in Council, as previously published on e-Laws, contained the following publication error:

The Order in Council was shown as having been recommended by the Solicitor General. In fact, the Order in Council was recommended by the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement.

This error was corrected on June 10, 2026.
