On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

 

Safer Roads and Communities Act, 2024

 

1.  January 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Safer Roads and Communities Act, 2024, c. 21, which amend the Highway Traffic Act, come into force:

 

s. 5-9, 10 (1), (2), 11-15, 17 (4), (5), 25, 26, 28.

 

2.  July 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Safer Roads and Communities Act, 2024, c. 21, which amend the Highway Traffic Act, come into force:

 

s. 17 (1), (2).
