Designation

1. (1) For the purposes of section 2 of the Act, the following area of land is designated as the Oak Ridges Moraine Area:

The land designated as Part 1 on a plan entitled “Plan of the Boundary of the Oak Ridges Moraine Area” and filed on October 22, 2001, with the Office of the Surveyor General of Ontario in the Ministry of Natural Resources, containing 190,328 hectares, more or less, and being composed of land in the geographic townships listed in the Schedule.  O. Reg. 1/02, s. 1 (1).

(2) Copies of the plan referred to in subsection (1) are available for public inspection at the following locations:

1. The offices of the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing at 777 Bay Street, Toronto.

2. The government information centre located in the Macdonald Block at 900 Bay Street, Toronto.

3. The offices of the Ministry of Natural Resources at 50 Bloomington Road West, Aurora.  O. Reg. 1/02, s. 1 (2).
