Extraordinary event

1. A temporary decrease between January 1, 2003 and June 30, 2005 in the number of residents residing in a home classified as a “B”, “C” or “D” home is prescribed as an extraordinary event in respect of which the Minister may make an additional grant to a municipality maintaining and operating a home, to the municipalities maintaining and operating a joint home or to a board of management of a home for the purposes of section 29 of the Act.
