By-law’s title amended

1. The title to the Greater Toronto Services Board By-law No. 40, that was deemed under the GO Transit Act, 2001 to have been made by GO Transit under the GO Transit Act, 2001 and that is deemed by subsection 43 (6) of the Metrolinx Act, 2006 to be a by-law made by Metrolinx under the Metrolinx Act, 2006, is repealed and the following substituted:

To apportion the capital costs of Metrolinx among the participating municipalities for the period 2001-2022.

By-law amended

2.  Section 1 of the By-law is repealed and the following substituted:

1. The responsibility for the payment of the growth and expansion capital costs of Metrolinx is hereby apportioned among the participating municipalities in the following percentages for the 22-year period of 2001 to 2022, inclusive:

i. Toronto, 44.6 per cent.

ii. Durham, 11.3 per cent.

iii. Halton, 11 per cent.

iv. Hamilton, 2.8 per cent.

v. Peel, 16.5 per cent.
