Exemption from Act — Mohawks of Akwesasne

Exemption from incorporation requirement

1. Despite subsection 3 (1) of the Act, an Indian or native child and family service authority designated under subsection 211 (1) of the Act by the elected Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is exempt from the requirement that it be incorporated for the purposes of being approved and designated under clause 211 (2) (c) of the Act.  O. Reg. 116/11, s. 1.
