Compulsory Trades
Sprinkler and Fire Protection Installer
1. (1) The review panel decision set out in the report “Trade Classification Review: Sprinkler and Fire Protection Installer, TCR2013-1 SFPI”, dated April 23, 2014, provides that the period of repose for the reclassification of the trade is two years.
(2) The trade of Sprinkler and Fire Protection Installer is prescribed as a compulsory trade, pursuant to the review panel decision mentioned in subsection (1).

2. Ontario Regulation 175/11 (Prescribed Trades and Related Matters), made under the Act, sets out the trades that, for the purposes of section 91 of the Act, were designated as compulsory trades before section 61 of the Act came into force.
