DEFINITION OF APPROVED DRUG SCREENING EQUIPMENT

Note: THIS REGULATION IS NOT YET IN FORCE. It comes into force on July 1, 2018, the day section 5 of Schedule 4 to the Cannabis, Smoke-Free Ontario and Road Safety Statute Law Amendment Act, 2017 comes into force.

Approved drug screening equipment

1. For the purposes of sections 44.2, 48.0.2, 48.0.3 and 48.0.4 of the Act,

“approved drug screening equipment” means drug screening equipment that is designed to ascertain the presence of a drug in a person’s body and that is prescribed by or approved under the Criminal Code (Canada).
