DELEGATION OF REGULATION-MAKING AUTHORITIES

Note: THIS REGULATION IS NOT YET IN FORCE. It comes into force on February 1, 2021, the day subsection 2 (1) of Schedule 1 to the Strengthening Protection for Ontario Consumers Act, 2017 comes into force.

Regulation-making powers delegated to the Minister
1. The power to make a regulation under the following provisions is delegated to the Minister under clause 83 (1) (o) of the Act:
1. Clause 83 (1) (a) of the Act in respect of,
i. prescribing persons for the purposes of subclause 38 (1) (a) (iii) of the Act,
ii. prescribing legislation for the purposes of subclause 38 (1) (c) (ii) of the Act,
iii. prescribing requirements for a licence for the purposes of clause 38 (1) (e) of the Act,
iv. prescribing material change for the purpose of subsection 38 (2),
v. prescribing the time for reapplication for the purposes of clause 46 (a) of the Act, and
vi. prescribing material change for the purpose of section 52 of the Act.
2. Omitted (provides for coming into force of provisions of this Regulation).
