TRANSITIONAL: SUPERVISORS

Transitional, supervisors

1. Where a local health integration network has appointed a health service provider supervisor for a health service provider under section 21.2 of the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, or has given notice of its intention to appoint a health service provider supervisor under that section, and the Minister makes an order under subsection 40 (1) of the Connecting Care Act, 2019 transferring the rights and obligations of the network under the service accountability agreement between that network and provider to the Agency, then, as of the effective date of the order,

(a) all of the rights, powers, and duties of the network with respect to a health service provider supervisor under section 21.2 of the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, including the power to make an appointment and otherwise act pursuant to a notice, shall be deemed to be the rights, powers and duties of the Agency; and

(b) all of the powers and duties that the network may have conferred on the health service provider supervisor under the terms and conditions of their appointment shall be deemed to be powers and duties that were conferred on the supervisor by the Agency.
