TRANSITIONAL MATTERS AND DUTIES OF TRANSITION SUPERVISORY OFFICER

Establishment of Council and committees
1. The Council and the statutory committees are established.
Additional duties of Transition Supervisory Officer
2. (1) In addition to performing the duties set out in subsection 65 (2) of the Act, the Transition Supervisory Officer shall, during the transition period,
(a) appoint a Chair of the Council;
(b) establish subcommittees of Council, appoint members of Council to the subcommittees, and appoint a Chair and Vice Chair of each subcommittee;
(c) appoint the Chairs and Vice Chairs of the statutory committees established under section 1; and
(d) appoint the members, including the Chairs and Vice Chairs, of the Standards of Practice and Education Committee, Accreditation Committee and Accreditation Appeal Committee in accordance with the rules set out in sections 19, 27, 28 and 31 of Ontario Regulation 563/21 (General) made under the Act.
(2) Subsection (1) applies despite clauses 66 (6) (a) and (b) and 67 (5) (a) of the Act.
