This is the English version of a bilingual regulation.
Required information on list of jurors
1. For the purposes of subsection 34 (2) of the Act, the following are prescribed as information that shall be provided by the sheriff in respect of each person on the list:
1. The unique identification number listed on the jury roll for the person.
2. The person’s language preference.
3. The person’s phone number, if available.
4. The person’s email address, if available.
Disqualification for interest or bias
2. For the purposes of subsection 34 (6) of the Act, the following are prescribed as matters that may be grounds for disqualification of a juror because of interest or bias:
1. Direct pecuniary or personal interest.
2. Personal hostility.
3. Personal friendship.
4. Family relationship.
5. Professional or vocational relationship.
6. Employer-employee relationship.
3. Omitted (revokes other Regulations).
4. Omitted (provides for coming into force of provisions of this Regulation).
