GRANTS FOR HEALTH PROMOTION PROJECTS AND INITIATIVES

This Regulation is made in English only.

1.The Minister may pay grants under section 76 of the Act for the purpose of assisting applicants to undertake health promotion projects or initiatives designed to support and enhance the ability of individuals to increase control over and improve their health. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 563, s. 1.

2.The Minister may pay a grant to an applicant who,

(a) makes an application in writing to the Minister setting out the subject-matter of the health promotion project or initiative that an applicant proposes to undertake; and

(b) submits an estimate of the costs involved for the proposed project or initiative and the procedures and manner for executing the proposed project or initiative. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 563, s. 2.

3.Where an applicant is approved by the Minister for a grant, the grant may be paid in advance or on a reimbursement of expenditure basis. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 563, s. 3.
