DESIGNATIONS

This Regulation is made in English only.

1. Where a highway is referred to in this Regulation by a number or name, the reference is to that part of the King’s Highway that is known thereby. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 803, s. 1.

2. The following parts of the King’s Highway are designated as parts of the King’s Highway upon which motorized snow vehicles may not be driven:

1. All of the King’s Highways known as No. 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 406, 407, 409, 410, 420 and 427.

2. All of the King’s Highway known as the Queen Elizabeth Way.

3. All of the King’s Highway known as No. 417 including that portion known as the Ottawa Queensway.

4. All of the King’s Highway known as No. 2A in the Borough of Scarborough.

5. All of the King’s Highway known as the Kitchener-Waterloo Expressway being,

i. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 7 lying between its intersection with Victoria Street in the City of Kitchener and a point situate 1.6 kilometres west of its intersection with Fisher Drive in the City of Kitchener,

ii. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 8 in the City of Kitchener in The Regional Municipality of Waterloo lying between a point situate at its intersection with the roadway known as King Street and a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 7,

iii. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 86 lying between a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 7 in the City of Kitchener and a point situate 800 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Waterloo Road 17 in the Township of Woolwich, and

iv. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 7187 in the City of Kitchener in The Regional Municipality of Waterloo lying between a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 401 and a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 8 and the roadway known as King Street.

6. All of the King’s Highway known as No. 416 other than,

i. the trail tunnels that run under the northbound and southbound lanes of the Highway at a point that is situate 2.3 kilometres measured northerly from the intersection of Highway No. 416 with the centre line of the King’s Highway known as No. 401, and

ii. the area within the fenced-in portion of the median strip that connects the two tunnels.

7. All of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 being,

i. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the City of Toronto lying between a point situate at its intersection with the southerly limit of the structure over the roadway known as Maple Leaf Drive and a point situate at its intersection with the southerly limit of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 5 in the Township of Georgian Bay in The District Municipality of Muskoka,

ii. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the Township of Georgian Bay in The District Municipality of Muskoka lying between a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 5 and a point situate 805 metres north of the centre line of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 34 and 48,

iii. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the Township of Georgian Bay in The District Municipality of Muskoka lying between a point situate 835 metres north of the centre line of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 34 and 48 and a point situate at its intersection with the southerly limit of the roadway known as Joe King’s Road,

iv. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the Township of Georgian Bay in The District Municipality of Muskoka lying between a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the roadway known as Joe King’s Road and a point situate at its intersection with the southerly limit of the roadway known as Crooked Bay Road and Georgian Bay Road,

v. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the Township of Georgian Bay in The District Municipality of Muskoka lying between a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the roadway known as Crooked Bay road and Georgian Bay Road and a point situate at its intersection with the southerly limit of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 33,

vi. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the Township of Georgian Bay in The District Municipality of Muskoka lying between a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 33 and a point situate at its intersection with the southerly limit of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 32 and 38,

vii. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the Township of Georgian Bay in The District Municipality of Muskoka lying between a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 32 and 38 and a point situate 2000 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 12,

viii. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the Township of Georgian Bay in The District Municipality of Muskoka lying between a point situate 1980 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Muskoka Road 12 and a point situate at its intersection with the southerly limit of the structure over Moon River,

ix. that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the Township of Georgian Bay in The District Municipality of Muskoka beginning at a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the structure over Moon River and extending northerly for a distance of 3,100 metres.

8. That part of the King’s Highway known as Nos. 11 and 17 lying between a point situate at its intersection with the roadway known as Lakeshore Drive in the Township of MacGregor and a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 130 in the Municipality of Oliver Paipoonge.

9. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 61 in the City of Thunder Bay lying between a point situate at its intersection with the roadway known as Chippewa Road and a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway Known as No. 11.

10. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 7 lying between a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 417 in the City of Ottawa and a point situate 3913 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Ashton Station Road in the Township of Beckwith.

11. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 17 in the Territorial District of Algoma lying between a point situate at its intersection with the easterly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 17B in the Township of Macdonald, Meredith and Aberdeen Additional and a point situate at its intersection with the westerly junction of the King’s Highway known as No. 17B in the Garden River First Nation Reserve No. 14, other than the trail tunnel that runs under the eastbound and westbound lanes of the King’s Highway No. 17 at a point that is situate 2.065 kilometres measured westerly from its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 638.

12. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 in the Territorial District of Parry Sound lying between a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 518 in the Township of Perry and a point situate at its intersection with the centre line of the King’s Highway known as No. 520 in the Township of Armour.

13. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 3 (also known as Huron Church Road) in the City of Windsor in the County of Essex lying between a point situate at its intersection with the westerly limit of the roadways known as Todd Lane and Cabana Road and a point situate at its intersection with the easterly limit of the roadways known as Industrial Drive and Northwood Street.

14. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 7087 (also known as E. C. Row Expressway) in the City of Windsor in the County of Essex lying between a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the King’s Highway known as No. 7902 (also known as Ojibway Parkway) and a point situate 365 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the King’s Highway known as No. 3 (also known as Huron Church Road).

15. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 7902 (also known as Ojibway Parkway) in the City of Windsor in the County of Essex lying between a point situate at its intersection with the northerly limit of the south junction of the roadway known as Broadway Street and a point situate at its intersection with the easterly limit of the Essex Terminal Railway right-of-way. 3. The following parts of the King’s Highway are designated as parts of the King’s Highway across the serviced roadway of which no motorized snow vehicle may be driven:

1. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 lying between its junction with the King’s Highway known as No. 403 and its junction with the King’s Highway known as No. 5.

2. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 7 lying between its southwest junction with the King’s Highway known as No. 7B in the City of Vaughan and its intersection with Rutherford Road in the City of Brampton.

3. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 10 lying between its intersection with Burnhamthorpe Road in the City of Mississauga and its intersection with Steeles Avenue in the City of Brampton.

4. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 lying between its intersection with Steeles Avenue in The Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto and its intersection with Major Mackenzie Drive in the Town of Richmond Hill.

5. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 20 lying between its overpass over the Canadian National Railways subway in the City of Hamilton and its west junction with the King’s Highway known as the Queen Elizabeth Way.

6. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 27 lying between its intersection with Eglinton Avenue and its intersection with Albion Road, both in The Municipality of Metropolitan Toronto.

7. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 33 lying between the western limits of the City of Kingston and its intersection with Frontenac County Road No. 2.

8. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 126 lying between its junction with the King’s Highway known as No. 401 and its intersection with Hall Street in the City of London.

9. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 11, including the Highway 400/Highway 11 Link (also known as No. 11) lying between a point situate at its intersection with the King’s Highway known as No. 400 in the Township of Vespra in the County of Simcoe and a point situate at its intersection with the boundary line between The District Municipality of Muskoka and the County of Simcoe. 4. The following parts of the King’s Highway are designated as parts of the King’s Highway upon which motorized snow vehicles may be driven:

1. All of the King’s Highway known as and numbered 500 to 899.

2. Revoked: O. Reg. 437/00, s. 1.

3. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 105 in unsurveyed territory in the Territorial District of Kenora lying between a point situate 75 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the south limit of the bridge known as the English River Bridge and a point situate 75 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the north limit of the English River Bridge.

4. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 105 in unsurveyed territory in the Territorial District of Kenora lying between a point situate 75 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the south limit of the bridge known as the Trout Lake River Bridge and a point situate 75 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the north limit of the Trout Lake River Bridge.

5. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 105 in unsurveyed territory in the Territorial District of Kenora lying between a point situate 75 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the south limit of the bridge known as the Chukuni River Bridge and a point situate 75 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the north limit of the Chukuni River Bridge.

6. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 105 in unsurveyed territory in the Territorial District of Kenora lying between a point situate 75 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the south limit of the bridge known as the Bug River Bridge and a point situate 75 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the north limit of the Bug River Bridge.

7. That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 63 in the Township of Poitras in the Territorial District of Nipissing lying between a point situate 75 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Wyse Road and a point situate at its intersection with the boundary line between the Province of Ontario and the Province of Quebec.
