Ontario Casino Corporation Act, 1993

ONTARIO REGULATION 322/94

GENERAL

This is the English version of a bilingual regulation.

Committees

1. (1) A committee established under subsection 8 (5) of the Act shall be composed of not fewer than five and not more than seven members.

(2) The board of directors of the Corporation shall appoint to the committee,

(a) one person who is a member of the police services board of the municipality; and

(b) one person who is a member of the council of the municipality.

(3) The board of directors of the Corporation shall appoint the remaining members of the committee after such consultation with the community as the board considers appropriate.

(4) A member of the committee shall be appointed for a term not exceeding three years and may be reappointed for a second term.

(5) The board of directors of the Corporation shall designate one member of the committee as chair and another as vice-chair. O. Reg. 322/94, s. 1.

Payments into Consolidated Revenue Fund

2. (1) The Corporation shall pay into the Consolidated Revenue Fund an amount equal to 20 per cent of the revenue received by the Corporation from its activities under the Act, after paying winnings to players.

(2) The Corporation shall make the payments under subsection (1) weekly, based on its revenue for the preceding week. O. Reg. 322/94, s. 2.
