RATES OF TAXATION FOR GENERAL PURPOSES, 1994

This Regulation is made in English only.

1. This Regulation applies with respect to rates of taxation for general purposes for the year 1994. O. Reg. 527/94, s. 1.

2. The council of a local municipality specified in the Schedule to this Regulation shall levy the rates of taxation for general purposes that are determined in accordance with this Regulation on the real property and business assessment according to the last returned assessment roll in the merged areas of each local municipality. O. Reg. 527/94, s. 2.

3. (1) The rates of taxation that would be levied but for a regulation made under section 27 of the Act shall be increased or decreased by the number of mills specified in the Schedule for each merged area in each local municipality specified in the Schedule.

(2) The amounts calculated using the rates of taxation determined under subsection (1) for each merged area shall be included in the sums adopted by each local municipality for general purposes in accordance with section 162 of the Municipal Act. O. Reg. 527/94, s. 3.
