This Regulation is made in English only.
1. (1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), when an application is made for the issuance, validation or transfer of a permit for a motor vehicle, the certificate of insurance required by subsection 13 (1) of the Act shall be in a form approved by the Minister of Finance for that purpose. (2) When an application is made for the validation of a permit for a motor vehicle, the certificate of insurance required by subsection 13 (1) of the Act may be in an electronic form approved by the Minister of Finance for that purpose. O. Reg. 278/95, s. 1 (2).
(3) When an application is made for the issuance, validation or transfer of a permit for one or more motor vehicles that are registered or are being registered under the Canadian Agreement on Vehicle Registration, the certificate of insurance required by subsection 13 (1) of the Act may be in a form approved by the Minister of Finance for that purpose.
