COMMUNITY SAFETY ZONES

This Regulation is made in English only.

1. The part of a highway described in a schedule to this Regulation is designated as a community safety zone for the hours, days and months specified in the schedule. O. Reg. 220/00, s. 1.

SCHEDULE 1
TOWN OF WHITBY

1. (1) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 12 in the Town of Whitby in The Regional Municipality of Durham lying between a point situate 20 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Winchester Road (Durham Regional Road No. 3) and extending northerly through the intersection of the roadway known as Winchester Road (Durham Regional Road No. 3) along that part of the King’s Highway known as No. 7 and No. 12, to a point situate 30 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Carnwith Drive.

(2) This designation is effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every month of the year.

SCHEDULE 2
TOWNSHIP OF RAMARA

1. (1) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 12 in the Township of Ramara in the County of Simcoe lying between a point situate 740 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre lines of the roadways known as Ramara Road 47/Ramara Concession Road 4 and a point situate 640 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre lines of the roadways known as Ramara Road 47/Ramara Concession Road 4.

(2) This designation is effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every month of the year.

SCHEDULE 3
TOWNSHIP OF SPRINGWATER

1. (1) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 93 in the Township of Springwater, formerly known as the Police Village of Hillsdale, in the County of Simcoe lying between a point situate 235 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Martin Street and a point situate 150 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Robert Boulevard.

(2) This designation is effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every month of the year.

SCHEDULE 4
TOWNSHIP OF MCDOUGALL

1. (1) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 69 in the Township of McDougall in the Territorial District of Parry Sound lying between a point situate 250 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the northerly limit of the roadway known as Hammel Avenue and a point situate 350 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Bayside Drive.

(2) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 124 in the Township of McDougall in the Territorial District of Parry Sound beginning at a point situate 40 metres measured easterly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Burnside Bridge Road and extending easterly for a distance of 820 metres.

(3) The designations set out in subsections (1) and (2) are effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every month of the year.

SCHEDULE 5
TOWNSHIP OF SEGUIN

1. (1) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 141 in the Village of Rosseau in the Township of Seguin in the Territorial District of Parry Sound lying between a point situate 190 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as McCarthy Street and a point situate 140 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Clifford Street.

(2) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 141 in the settlement known as Humphrey in the Township of Seguin in the Territorial District of Parry Sound lying between a point situate 170 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Sandy Plains Road and a point situate 255 metres measured westerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Laughing Loon Lane.

(3) The designations set out in subsections (1) and (2) are effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every month of the year.

SCHEDULE 6
TOWN OF CALEDON

1. (1) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 10 in the Town of Caledon lying between a point situate 100 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Highwood Road and a point situate 1,450 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Highwood Road.

(2) This designation is effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every month of the year.

SCHEDULE 7
MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON

1. (1) That part of the east side of the King’s Highway known as Nos. 35/115 in the Municipality of Clarington lying between a point situate 110 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Concession Road 3 and a point situate 100 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Concession Road 4.

(2) This designation is effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every month of the year.

SCHEDULE 8
TOWNSHIP OF SIOUX NARROWS NESTOR FALLS

1. (1) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 71 in the Township of Sioux Narrows Nestor Falls in the Territorial District of Kenora lying between a point situate at its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Fadden Road and a point situate 350 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the northerly abutment of the Sioux Narrows Bridge.

(2) This designation is effective between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., seven days a week and every month of the year.

SCHEDULE 9
MUNICIPALITY OF NORTHERN BRUCE PENINSULA

1. (1) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 6 in the Municipality of Northern Bruce in the County of Bruce beginning at a point situate 405 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Bruce Road 9 and extending northerly for a distance of 923 metres.

(2) This designation is effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every month of the year.

SCHEDULE 10
MUNICIPALITY OF TEMAGAMI

1. (1) That part of the King’s Highway known as No. 11 in the Municipality of Temagami in the Territorial District of Nipissing lying between a point situate 85 metres measured southerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Lakeshore Drive and a point situate 125 metres measured northerly from its intersection with the centre line of the roadway known as Second Avenue West.

(2) This designation is effective 24 hours a day, seven days a week and every month of the year.
