Amending O. Reg. 278/98

(General)

1. (1) Section 2 of Schedule 2 to Ontario Regulation 278/98 is amended by striking out “12 members” in the portion before the paragraphs and substituting “14 members”.

(2) Paragraph 2 of section 2 of Schedule 2 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “six members” and substituting “seven members”.

(3) Paragraphs 7 and 8 of section 2 of Schedule 2 to the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

7. Area 6 is the area of jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Town of Iroquois Falls and one member shall be appointed by its municipal council to represent Area 6.

8. Area 7 is the area of jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Township of Black River-Matheson and one member shall be appointed by its municipal council to represent Area 7.

9. Area 8 is the territory without municipal organization within the district for the District of Cochrane Social Services Administration Board and one member shall be selected by the residents of that territory to represent Area 8.

2. (1) Subparagraph 2 vi of section 2 of Schedule 7 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

vi. The Corporation of the Municipality of Charlton and Dack.

(2) Paragraph 3 of section 2 of Schedule 7 to the Regulation is revoked and the following substituted:

3. Area 3 is the area of jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Municipality of Timiskaming Shores and two members shall be appointed by its municipal council to represent Area 3.

(3) Subparagraph 4 vii of section 2 of Schedule 7 to the Regulation is revoked.

(4) Subparagraph 5 vii of section 2 of Schedule 7 to the Regulation is revoked.

(5) Paragraph 6 of section 2 of Schedule 7 to the Regulation is revoked.

(6) Paragraph 7 of section 2 of Schedule 7 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “Area 7” wherever it occurs and substituting in each case “Area 6”.

(7) Paragraph 8 of section 2 of Schedule 7 to the Regulation is amended by striking out “Area 8” wherever it occurs and substituting in each case “Area 7”.

3. This Regulation comes into force on the day it is filed.
