Amending O. Reg. 114/99

(Family Law Rules)

1. (1) Clause 25 (11) (b) of Ontario Regulation 114/99 is amended by striking out “or” at the end of subclause (i) and by adding the following subclauses:

(i.1) if it is a restraining order under section 35 of the Children’s Law Reform Act or section 46 of the Family Law Act,

(i.2) if it is an order terminating a restraining order referred to in subclause (i.1), or

(2) Rule 25 of the Regulation is amended by adding the following subrules:

Restraining Orders

(11.1) A restraining order referred to in subclause 11 (b) (i.1) shall be in Form 25F or 25G.

(11.2) An order terminating a restraining order referred to in subclause 11 (b) (i.1) shall be in Form 25H.

2. (1) The Table of Forms to the Regulation is amended by striking out,

(2) The Table of Forms to the Regulation is amended by adding the following:

 

25F	Restraining order	September 1, 2009

25H	Order terminating restraining order	September 1, 2009

 

3. This Regulation comes into force on the latest of,

(a) the day section 15 of the Family Statute Law Amendment Act, 2009 comes into force;

(b) the day section 35 of the Family Statute Law Amendment Act, 2009 comes into force; and

(c) the day this Regulation is filed.
