Amending O. Reg. 135/98
(Administration and Cost Sharing)
1. Subsection 7 (1) of Ontario Regulation 135/98 is amended by striking out “sections 8.6, 8.7 and 8.8” in the portion before clause (a) and substituting “sections 8.8 and 8.9”.
2. Sections 8.6 and 8.7 of the Regulation are revoked.
3. The Regulation is amended by adding the following section:
8.9 With respect to 2010, Ontario shall pay 100 per cent of the increase in the assistance costs that result from the following:
1. Amendments made to Ontario Regulation 134/98 (General), made under the Act, by Ontario Regulation 379/10, except for an increase in the cost that results from section 1 of Ontario Regulation 379/10.
2. An increase, commencing in December 2010, in an amount approved by the Director for emergency hostel services in accordance with subsection 43 (2) of Ontario Regulation 134/98 (General) made under the Act.
4. This Regulation comes into force on December 1, 2010.
