Amending O. Reg. 323/94

(Dry Cleaners)

1. (1) Subsection 1 (1) of Ontario Regulation 323/94 is amended by adding the following definitions:

“authorizing certificate” has the same meaning as in subsection 2 (1) of the Ontario Labour Mobility Act, 2009;

“out-of-province regulatory authority” has the same meaning as in subsection 2 (1) of the Ontario Labour Mobility Act, 2009;

(2) The definition of “trained person” in subsection 1 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out “or” at the end of clause (a), by adding “or” at the end of clause (b) and by adding the following clause:

(c) satisfied the Director that he or she holds a valid authorizing certificate that is in good standing issued by an out-of-province regulatory authority in respect of operating dry cleaning equipment in a commercial establishment.

2. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 1, 2011 and the day this Regulation is filed.
