Amending Reg. 753 of R.R.O. 1990

(Grades, Standards, Designations, Classes, Packing and Marking)

1. Section 3 of Regulation 753 of the Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1990 is revoked and the following substituted:

3. Buttermilk, cream, double cream, flavoured cream, flavoured milk, flavoured partly-skimmed milk, flavoured skim-milk, milk, a milk beverage described in paragraph 3 of section 4, partly-skimmed milk, skim-milk, table cream and whipping cream are designated as fluid milk products.

2. (1) Paragraph 3 of subsection 4 (1) of the Regulation is amended by striking out the portion before subparagraph i and substituting the following:

3. A milk beverage that contains,

(2) Paragraphs 4, 5 and 6 of subsection 4 (1) of the Regulation are revoked and the following substituted:

4. Products reprocessed from a product described in paragraph 1, 2 or 3.

(3) Subsections 4 (2), (3) and (4) of the Regulation are revoked.

3. (1) Clause 5 (2) (g.1) of the Regulation is amended by striking “subsection 4 (1)” in the portion before subclause (i) and substituting “section 4”.

(2) Subsections 5 (6), (7) and (8) of the Regulation are revoked.

4. Section 13.1 of the Regulation is revoked.

5. This Regulation comes into force on the later of January 31, 2011 and the day it is filed.
